Mandatory registration of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs with TESDA.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) was established through the enactment of 

TESDA Batangas is the first provincial office to be visited for ISO certification this year.

According to Provincial Director Carlos Flores, "This is a great time to demonstrate to our stakeholders our commitment to deliver quality services and programs.  We have been preparing for this activity since last year and we are all excited and a bit tense.   We are scheduled for certification audit very soon and we hope to pass this challenge."

Other provincial offices of TESDA Calabarzon will be scheduled for surveillance audit.

Quezon National Agricultural School (QNAS),  one of TESDA Administered Schools is currently conducting a research on "Adaptability Trial of Traditional Rice Varieties Using Organic Farming Practices under Quezon Province Conditions."  The research is in support of the Department of Agriculture's (DA)  thrust to strengthen rice self- sufficiency and food security. 

Congratulations to TESDA PTC-Rosario!

Beating the participating teams from Ateneo de Manila and Manila Central University, TESDA PTC Rosario was hailed as the champion in the 1st National Campus Fire Brigade Competition las March 2, 2013 at Mehan Garden, Manila.  The competition was organized  by the Safety Organization of the Philippines and the Bureau of Fire Protection in celebration of the Fire Prevention Month.  Entitled  "7 in 1" the competition aims to encourage different institutions to participate and join the endeavor against the consequences of fire.
