Maintain a healthy workforce, says Sec Gene

In a recent visit to PTC Binangonan last February, Sec Gene A. Mamondiong emphasized the need for a healthy and strong workforce to ensure fast and efficient delivery of TESDA programs and services.

His remark supports TESDA 4A's current program on beauty, health and wellness for its personnel. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 pm - 6:00pm,  both male and female employees don their zumba attires.  A professional instructor comes regularly to lead and guide the employees on the proper weight and health management.  The biggest loser wins a prize.

Former Senator Serge Osmena believes that technical education and skills development is a sure path to economic progress.

In a meeting with Sec Gene A. Mamondiong and RD Nenet S. dela Cruz last December 2016, Sen. Osmena discussed his plan for the establishment of Calauan Training Center in Laguna.  The Training Center will cater to the residents of the relocation sites in the area who were former informal settlers in Metro Manila.  Other residents  from the various municipalities of Laguna will also be served by the Center.

Congratulations to Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades for getting 3 STARS in the STAR Rating System for  TESDA Programs.

Congratulations to Quezon National Agricultural School for getting 2 STARS.

Congratulations to St. Michael College of Laguna for getting 1 STAR.

The STAR Rating System of TVET Programs aims to recognize the accomplishment, improvements and innovations that TVIs have instituted in furtherance of the competency-based training reforms initiated by TESDA and to determine the level of quality of TVET provision of TVIs.

TESDA 4A Audits DTS Programs

Posted by mrwiseguy187

In line with TESDA's continuous improvement efforts, TESDA 4A through its WINGS-EBT (Enterprise Based Training) chaired by TESDA Cavite PD Rolando dela Torre conducted a compliance audit of all accredited DTS programs from January to February 2017.  The audit aims to check the continuous compliance of  DTS partner schools and companies  to the set standards and guidelines.  This is the first time a compliance audit was conducted  covering 100% accredited DTS programs.
